You may remember that you were indeed the fierce defender of the place in my original review, in the followup comments – in fact, you were the one who offered to take me there and pick out the dishes that would show the place off at its best! Now see, I can assert that you’ve come around to my way of thinking. 😉

This used to be one of my favourite places whose occasional defects I defended fiercely as being the risks associated with a more imaginative menu. Sadly, I think it has gone down hill! Last time I went my girlfriend was given a dumbed down, tasteless, cream sauce rather than the asked for curry, despite me having made clear to Paul Jean that she loves the same level as spice as me. His response to my complaint. He could see she was Argentine so didn’t believe me! Amazingly arrogant. Still the cocktails were great and on the house. Mixed feelings and not inclined to hurry back to try again!
