Williams on Friday night. It was the best meal of our entire month of dining out in Argentina. Brilliant catfish gumbo with perfectly cooked okra. Great depth of flavor from the catfish bones.
The ‘fried’ chicken was truly memorable. Beyond juicy and still crunchy to the mouth. The olive and cashew topping was wild and unexpected. It worked surprisingly well. I can’t wait to try this one myself at home.
Dan and Henri: we truly enjoyed our visit to your lovely home. Many thanks, Jeff and Barbara! It was innovative, skillfully cooked and really enjoy. You have new fans now!

And as for that Mrs.G — I hope you told her “Bless your heart!” in true southern fashion 😉 It’s too bad that she and her party flaked on you on the last minute, but since your other guests were spared their company/complaints, i think you should look at it as a blessing in disguise.
