I think you'll find many similarities in terms of quality - the dishes are clearly made with care, and picante was offered by our waitress on one of the dishes if we wanted, the other she said wasn't traditionally a spicy dish so that wasn't an option. The hot sauce served on the side was spicier than Tandoor's. Portions at Taj Mahal are a little smaller than Tandoor's for roughly the same price. For me in Recoleta, not as convenient obviously. Still, worth a try I think.

Hi Dan,
How does this place compare to Tandoor. As a brit who eats a lot of curry I was pleasantly suprised by Tandoor, mainly as their sauces were clearly made from scratch and cooked slowly with the meat (especially in the case of the lamb) in them. Curry in the UK is often much spicier than you actually find in India, and while I did request a little extra heat, the end result was actually pretty close to what you would find in Rajestan. Will I be dissapointed if I try the Taj?
