Well, hey, it was one post of four fairly mediocre places offering burgers and some street food, versus regular restaurants (the “Bite Marks” series are places that I’ve eaten at that in general I don’t think merit real reviews, or that entice to go back and do a full review). If you look at the reviews from the last few places we’ve been to prior, like 13 Fronteras or Sinko, or even just a look at my list of favorite restaurants by cuisine, I think you’ll find there’s plenty here to tempt your tastebuds. Having spent some (not a lot) time eating in Ecuador, I’m pretty sure I can guarantee you’ll find more than enough that makes it worth the trip. And if you find yourself missing Ecuadorian food, we’ve got two Ecuadorian restaurants here, plus more then 200 Peruvian spots.

As i sit here in nearish-by Ecuador (not exactly World-renowned for its over-the-top gastronomy – though I do love me a yummy dish of “hornado”) – your post today has me…

Um, underwhelmed.

Your reviews all seem fair (and quite entertaining) but I must say – if this pathetic array of eats exemplifies the fare of my neighbor to the south – sorry, but I’m afraid it doesn’t seem worth making a trip to Argentina.
