Of course, the dumplings once again – this time pre-ordered when we reserved, so they were ready for us.

I also want to revise what I said about the kuo tie, potstickers, above. This time, with them not being rushed at closing time, they were plump, delicious, crispy on one side and softly steamed on the other – some of the best I’ve had, anywhere.

Two more main courses…

Their version of Spicy Szechuan Peppercorn Chicken – a very thin, crispy batter on the chicken, probably something like a cornstarch batter, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and wow, between the chilies, garlic, green onions, black beans, and ginger, this one packed a punch. The crispy noodles underneath are a nice touch too. 360 pesos.

Steamed prawns – delicate, beautifully cooked, in a mild chili and garlic sauce with green onions and carrots. A little hard to eat and in the end, we just went for it and ate them heads, shells and all. Yum. 400 pesos.
