A return to La Panera Rosa one weekend day when we wanted brunch. In particular, Henry wanted waffles. Strangely, once we got there, he decided not to order waffles because he only wanted one small one, and sweet, on the side of having a regular breakfast. So we decided to have breakfast first and then if we were still hungry, we’d order a waffle to split. In the end, we both order bacon and scrambled eggs (excellent!) his with toast (apparently, given the markings, toasted in a waffle iron, mine with waffle. My plate far too big to pack away, so he finished it off and got a third of a waffle in the bargain at the end. The fries need some work, they’re soggy and mushy (though he ate both of ours, potatoes, Peruvians, you know how that goes, it’s an innate pheromone attraction or something)
