That would be my guess. There certainly wasn’t a lunch crowd. One older guy just drinking a coffee while reading his paper. I’ve heard great things about the food there, and even after writing this, a local foodie friend sent me a message that it’s a “must” for a Basque dinner, so it’s definitely staying on my list to check out one evening.

It was funny, because I’d looked at their website, and it said that they have a Basque menu, and at lunch an Argentine fixed price menu “in addition”. So I just assumed they were offering both. The waitress said that they hear this all the time from people who come in, but the owner doesn’t seem to want to change the website to indicate that at lunch it’s only the latter menu. She didn’t seem even a little surprised when we got up and left – as if it happens all the time – which it probably does.
