Every year we visit Cafayate and Tilcara, adding other places like Purmamarca, Humauaca, Tafe de Valle, Fiambalá, etc. as we see fit. Thanks for the link! The music was superb.

We had a great time, so what’s there to pity? We had a grand total of about 60 hours on this trip, so not spending 10 of them just getting to and from another hotel (albeit through, I’m sure, beautiful scenery) where we’d literally have one afternoon/evening and then one morning to spend seeing the place, doesn’t seem like a bad trade-off. We’ll get back that way and plan it out to spend enough time to include Cafayate).
