I’ve been twice at lunchtime, and while the owner sipped at a beer with us while chatting, he certainly wasn’t drunk and was pleasant – then again, I’ve known him for years, so I hope he’d be pleasant! I honestly don’t know how to respond, since I’ve not experienced that, and at least among my circle of friends, I’ve not heard it either. So, hopefully it was a one time off night that you encountered that.
