The fries at El Banco Rojo used to be crispy Midwestern-style (or My-Mom-style) fried rounds with nicely browned onions but now, bowing to local tastes I guess, they’re soggy or almost-soggy. So sad. Can you explain the Argentine (or porteño) preference for soggy fries?
