Yeah, love the burger at Tierra de Nadie! And I don’t usually like those “smashed patty” style ones, but they do it right.

Sounds good. I might try the counter at Ninina next time in the hope of better service 🙂

I went to Tierra de Nadie for a burger yesterday for the first time, really good! I still have a few other burger places to try that you recommend, but the lamb burger at Ninina does interest me. I still haven’t ordered anything there that I haven’t liked.

I wouldn’t rush for the burgers, they’re really good, or at least the lamb one is, but there are so many better ones in town these days – two years ago when this was written there weren’t the over a hundred choices in town for “gourmet” burgers. As to service, I’ve only sat at the counter at Ninina, and only once, so service wasn’t an issue with them standing right in front of me, no idea at the tables, or if things have changed.

The chicken is always warm when I order, and it comes with plenty of greens in addition to lots of avocado, portobello mushrooms, shaved parmesan and cherry tomatoes. Maybe Tom went on an off day.

The only thing I don’t like about Ninina is the service, which I usually find to be slow and unfriendly. And funnily enough, service was one of the positives mentioned in Dan’s reviews. Goes to show how these things can change a lot visit to visit.

I haven’t tried any burgers at Ninina yet, but will do soon for sure. I usually get the brunch for two, which is fantastic, or a salad for lunch.

Just noting, however, my 5-bun rating is specific to the lamb burgers, I haven’t tried any of their others, and I also pointed out that they’re stingy with the greens, though I’m surprised that the fries weren’t cooked to order there. Then again, it’s a review from two years ago, so things may have changed.
