In reply to Miles. Burger Joint is on my list to try, also based on her recommendation and because it sounds more like my style of burger. I don't have any set mix that I particularly favor, though a blend of sirloin and chuck tends to do the trick, it's more that I like a thick, juicy burger cooked rare to medium rare. The whisper thin patties of D&D just didn't provide either.

Agree with you on the fast food burgers, but I did go to Lisa’s newly recommended Burger Joint the other day. Impressive enough that I wrote it up on my blog. And cheap compared to the chains. Proper beef, proper fries, proper picante sauce. Everything freshly cooked. I don’t really share the US culture of fast food, but occasionally want something that isn’t a 90 minute meal. It fulfils the need admirably!

my experience at D&D was a bit better than yours but not as great as Lizas. I like the same kind of burgers as yours, ground chuck. The only place that I can trust for that kind of burger is Full City Coffee House. They even have this thing for 36 pesos that is between an arepa and an american hamburger

I live in Belgrano near wendys here and I think the staff here have got things together. I’ve never had a bad experience or a bad burger on the Wendys on Mendoza.
