Every now and again maple syrup is available at the big Jumbo in Palermo, but only very rarely. I bring it back with me from visits to the States, or have visiting friends bring some with them.

I’m a fellow expat from Finland who’s been following your blog for a while now. The food looks amazing and I’ll have to try it once I get a chance to head to the capital. There’s another thing caught my attention: where can maple syrup be found in Argentina?? Actually I’d take any kind of syrup since making it myself really wasn’t all that succesful… And do bottle the caramel sauce! You have one guaranteed customer already.
