I (tears in my eyes) miss them so much. BTW, Bennett Park, site of that plaque, is known locally as Dogshit Park. On a nicer note, Ft. Tryon Park is one of the most beautiful places to run (or walk) in the city. It’s also home to some of the fattest raccoons you’ll ever see, as well as a few red-tail hawks.
