Actually, the house originally belonged to the Hume family and was called La Residencia Hume, and became part of the Duhau estate when the Humes sold it to the Duhaus who had the building next door that is/was Palacio Duhau, in 1920. Thanks for pointing out the typos – The double r was probably just holding a key down to long; and, I used a recipe for arroz con camarones but made it using calamaretes and forgot to change the title on the recipe – corrected.

Two things only.
The name of the lady is Maguire, (Irish descent), rich ranchers.
The house belonged originally to a family called Duhau.
Arroz con camarones is not. Camarones are shrimps.This is arroz con calamares.
