And for small batches it’s fine, but sometimes I like to make a large quantity of something and I’d like jars like Mason jars that can really be sterilized and heat sealed properly for long term storage. A local friend has pointed me to a store that looks like they have them – I’ll be checking it out this week and, if so, post the info.

We just recycle any jar we have at home. Usually jam jars. Remember, we try to strech the peso as much as we can. I am now living in the US and I have to remind myself not to be wasteful with things.
