No, the last couple of times I tried to make English muffins here they came out pretty crappy, and I lost an old recipe I used to have and use. So this time I figured I'd follow it to the letter and see how they came out - and darned if they didn't! I'm not sure if I'd want a sourdough English muffin - might be interesting, but they have their own unique flavor as it is... you know?
