That seems to be the general consensus. Some people have been and loved everything they tried, others hated it, and some felt it was mixed, depending on the dish - it seems there are just some things they do well and some things they simply don't.

Hi Dan,

A few friends and I went there a couple months ago. There was quite a difference even in the dishes that we all ordered. The dishes that my husband and I ordered were phenomenal (entrada of salmon tiradito I think with passionfruit sauce, and a seafood curry). Our friends ordered ceviche and the seco de cordero. Theirs was mediocre at best. The lamb was very dry.

This place? Not remotely. If you read the review, we didn't even particularly like it, especially the main courses.

Not far off - it didn't have the vinegar and mirin added to it as it would for sushi, but was clearly the same sort of short-grained, slightly sticky rice.
