The vegetable steamed/fried buns are a family favorite. They are sold every Saturday on the sidewalk at the grocery store on Arribeños between Juramento and Mendoza. We like to walk there from our Belgrano apartment about once a month and stuff ourselves with buns. That's how we accidentally discovered the New Year festivities last Saturday. We also loved the small custard-filled cakes (don't know the name, but there's a good photo on this site: http://akworld.net/BAweekly/?p=383). I agree the festival was too small, but the buns did not disappoint!
