Telefe

In May of 2007 we were featured as one of two restaurants on a local broadcast on the Telefe channel about the "phenomenon" of restaurants in local homes. Unfortunately, our recorder screwed up and recorded only picture without sound. Luckily, Martin Mangiaterra over at Caracoles para da Vinci, the other restaurant featured, recorded it, got it digitized and posted up on YouTube. Here’s the broadcast, in two parts for anyone who missed it (I’d guess most of my readers)… it is in Spanish… (and you can watch me mangle mine… Spanish, that is).

Your casetellano was perfectly fine! Well done presentation.

Thanks, appreciated… I tend to have the vocabulary but fumble with grammar and accent… it’s getting there. And we’re trying to figure out why Henry’s voice sounds like gravel in the presentation, must be the recording…

    That was cool…

I don’t speak Spanish, but you sounded fine to me, Dan. I think the crew got some terrific shots of you and your place.
