And for small batches it's fine, but sometimes I like to make a large quantity of something and I'd like jars like Mason jars that can really be sterilized and heat sealed properly for long term storage. A local friend has pointed me to a store that looks like they have them - I'll be checking it out this week and, if so, post the info.</description>

		<description>Yes, we do canning at home. We just recycle any jar we have at home. Usually jam jars. Remember, we try to strech the peso as much as we can. I am now living in the US and I have to remind myself not to be wasteful with things.</description>
