Buenos Aires – We’re very excited here at Casa SaltShaker. Our first in-print press just came out. Bacanal magazine’s Espía Gourmet came to dinner about a month ago, just before I headed to New York for vacation, had apparently a delightful evening, and had asked if he could write about the experience. We even had a photo shoot. The magazine just hit the stands – you can read the article by clicking on the photo above. I’ve provided my best work-in-progress English translation below the article for those who don’t habla castellano.
Overall, great review for us, though I get the impression our espía wasn’t enamored of the communal table idea. I think he picked up from our Republic of Georgia dinner the idea that I was born in Georgia, US of A, but that was just a misinterpretation of my scribblings. I do wish the article had had the website link on the page, especially since it’s mentioned in the article, but then, it’s a quick and easy Google search.
