Re-visited Evaristo last night. Much faster service, still friendly and relaxed. I'd forgotten that I'd thought the provoleta was bland on the last visit and ordered it again - I'd still say the same - this time it was at least salted, but still just drizzled with olive oil and some small arugula leaves. The bife de chorizo was excellent however, we both ordered them, cooked perfectly medium rare, well seasoned, not fatty. Accompanied by a parrillada de verduras or grilled vegetable platter that was excellent; and the papa rellena which was described as a foil-baked potato stuffed with a leek and cream cheese filling - the filling was a bit muddled, but the potato was good once that was scraped to the side - next time I'd go with the straightforward butter and herb topped papa de plomo - why it's called a potato of lead I don't know...
