Hi, I live in Argentina and noticed your article on the Confitería El Molino (amongst others). I own two dishes (I guess were used for cookies, etc.), they are EPNS - made in England - with the Confiteria´s name of course and about 10 and half inches in diam. Would you know of someone interested in buying them, since our Congress is taking sooo long to decide what to do with the building?
Thanks

[...] My one disappointment at Flor de Lino, the coffee. An espresso that had to be a good 4 ounces or more, at least double what it should have been, watery and bitter. Given the care and quality that goes into the rest of the food, I was surprised, clearly it hasn’t been given the attention it deserves, and the waiters haven’t been trained to make it well. I wouldn’t, however, hesitate to go back and eat there again (by the way, weekdays, lunch only, Saturday and Sunday, dinner only). Besides, it’s on my favorite little street in the city.
[...] Buenos Aires - It’s bad enough that the song Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah from Disney’s Song of the South is stuck running through my head for the last 20 hours. It’s worse to realize that I actually know all the lyrics. I know how the song got there. I had lunch yesterday at Mítico Sur, the “Mythical South”, Pasaje San Lorenzo 389 in San Telmo - from there it was only a small series of logical leaps to the movie and the song. I noticed several interesting looking restaurants during my brief tour of the pasaje a couple of months ago, and since I was in the neighborhood yesterday, decided to check at least one of them out. I made a good choice in picking this one. [...]
